If you ask 100 people which flower is the most beautiful, 90 of them will probably answer the orchid. But if you ask them, if they have one in their home, most of them will say no. The reason is that it is a very difficult flower to take care of. The solution: the silk orchid.

Artificial orchids can be used for many different occasions. The can decorate your home; either in a pot or in a vase. Or they can embellish a wedding. Orchids are great no matter if they are in a bouquet or used separately as a single stem. No matter how you use fake orchids, they will be a beautiful kind of decoration.

The most popular silk orchids are Cymbidium and Phalaenopsis orchids; probably because they also are the most sold in fresh state. But also other species like Dendrobium and Vanda are popular. Today the quality of fake orchids is really great. A few years ago an artificial flower was made of clothes for the flower and plastic for leaves and the stem. Today you will get realistic orchid made of materials like silk and nylon. At it will look exactly like the real orchid.

But it is not only the orchids that are made of artificial materials. Also the water in the vase can be faked with a transparent polymer-suspension. The same apply for dew drops on the leaves.

Do you sneeze when you are close to flowers? Then you will love artificial orchids. You can decorate your home with hundreds of orchids without a single sneeze. You just have to buy silk orchids instead of the real ones.

So you do not have green fingers. And all your plants die a few days after you have got them? Not if you choose faux orchids. Just dust them regularly and they will look beautiful for years. And no one can see the difference.

Normally orchids are very sensitive to heat or cold. If they are placed to hot or cold they will wither. Silk orchids do not have the same problem. They can take both cold winters and hot summers without any problems.

There is no doubt that artificial orchids look like real orchids. Sometimes they can even be more beautiful than the real ones. So no matter if you are buying silk orchids for home decoration or weddings, you will be glad that you bought the fake version.
